About This Project
Why Indonesia?
Indonesia does not market its emotional landscape. It markets temples, beaches, rice terraces, and sunsets. But anyone who has spent time in the archipelago knows that the real experience is psychological — the way devotion permeates ordinary life, the way volcanic soil makes everything feel ancient and alive, the way the sacred and the mundane refuse to separate.
Heart Indonesia is a psychological field guide. Every location is profiled not by what you can do there, but by what you are likely to feel. We include 11-dimension sensory profiles so you know what your nervous system will encounter before you arrive. We provide exploration modes designed for ADHD and autistic minds. We offer prompts at three depths — gentle observation, personal reflection, and existential exploration — so you can engage with each place at whatever level feels right.
This is not a travel guide that tells you where to eat or which hotel to book. This is a guide that tells you where to be quiet, where to feel small, where to encounter devotion that has nothing to do with you, and where to let Indonesia do what it does best — remind you that the sacred was never hidden.
The Heart___ Series
Heart Indonesia is part of a series of psychological field guides to the world's most emotionally rich destinations. Each guide uses the same framework — emotion-first profiling, sensory mapping, neurodiversity awareness, and three-tier prompts — adapted to the unique psychological texture of each place.
Clinical Foundation
Heart Indonesia is created by MoodHelp Ltd, a mental health technology company founded by a consultant psychiatrist. Our guides are informed by clinical understanding of emotional processing, sensory regulation, and neurocognitive difference. They are not therapy. They are tools for self-awareness in unfamiliar places.
